INDEX OF MUSIC/STORIES EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

The realm of Appalachian music and stories is incredibly rich. In addition to the tales of the Native Americans that first inhabited the region, the stories and music of the first white settlers reflect the cultures their homelands: England, Ireland, and Scotland, primarily. Many of these tales have come down through the years relatively unchanged, simply reflecting a changed geography.

Today, when we hear so much about the influence of the modern media, all of us need exposure to the forms of entertainment that enchanted our ancestors. Come join us on this adventure.
