Planning Your Museum Visit

Museum Tours and Program Reservations

Reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance.

Reservation Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Confirmations: You will receive a written confirmation of your reservation prior to your visit.

The Museum's regular hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10 am - 5 pm, Sunday 1 pm - 5 pm. The Museum is closed on Monday. We are happy to work with your needs in scheduling. Groups may schedule Monday through Friday any time between 8:30 am and 5 pm. Please arrive approximately 20 minutes prior to a scheduled program to allow time for check-in and restroom visits.

If you will arrive later than expected, please call us at 828/262-3117.

If you must cancel or reschedule your visit, please call us as soon as you discover your plans must be changed.

Please have the following information ready when you call: teacher's name, school name, school mailing address, school phone, home phone, grade level, number of students, any students with special needs, special program selections (1st and 2nd choices) if interested.
