Meet Pat Ritchie

Pat is another volunteer familiar with the sunny state of Florida. There, she got her start selling resort area real estate in her native Palm Beach before she moved up here, "not knowing a soul." That was 22 years ago, when she took a job at Hound Ears Club and then at Linville Ridge, where she stayed 18 years. Before she started in Linville, she returned to Florida briefly. She says the mountains just pull her to them. In addition to volunteering with us, Pat has been reading ("A book a day it seems!"), taking some writing and computer classes, and her yard will tell anyone who stops by how passionate she is about gardening.
